These pages have been too long in coming, but Praise the Lord I now have them online to be a witness for the Lord and a Blessing to those who visit. It is lengthy at this point so please bear with me and it will be divided as the Lord directs us. I have been a Born Again Christian since 1967. Through the years I was very involved with the church and youth ministry. It was in 1976 that I was to the point of being in a wheelchair because of a medical condition called Myositis Ossificans Progressiva [Calcium Deposits of the muscle]. The medical profession has no cure, but as a Christian I have learned that "By HIS stripes we are healed". I have stood on this and other verses soon after accepting the Lord. I have personally witnessed miracles that only came from God as I prayed for individuals. The Lord is so good, especially to those who abide in HIS Word. After being in the wheelchair, making it so hard to get in and out of places, I am ashamed, but not being around fellow Christians, I slowly withdrew from reading the Word. I cannot explain why but just didn't see the need as I wasn't being in situations to share with others. I missed the fellowship with my Christian Brothers and Sisters. It seemed not being at church every week, I was a forgotten soldier. Of course Jesus was here every minute and Blessing me daily. He brought Amateur Radio into my life, which is a heaven sent Blessing. Then came computers and I learned all I could about the computer and because of the amateur radio hobby I was introduced to the Internet in 1985 before it was known except in Universities and Business. I have spent lots of time learning about the Internet and web pages. In recent weeks [in 1998] I had the calcium in my hip decide it would grow again after probably 30+ years. I had forgot the pain it caused, and there was no way to get easy. I immediately realized, [ being out of the word ], had placed me in a potentially bad situation. The Bible says "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing from the Word of God". Well if I was out of the word, ( Faith ), from the Word, it wasn't in me. Thank God for remembering enough to know I best call Christians which HE, JESUS directed me to as prayer partners. Thank the Lord for those who will stand in agreement. Another important part of the equation, Agreement . If there is one doubter in the group it can stop it all. Once the prayer warriors were in the battle, the pain in my hip went away rather quickly. Needless to say this Christian [ME] repented of being out of the WORD and began to get in the word more. When I feel a bit badly where I cannot read and concentrate, I get the Christian TV Station ( Trinity Broadcasting Network ) on my TV and let it play. This station delivers the word and ministers the WORD, which we all need.I am getting back to normal and rebuilding my faith by getting the WORD in me. Its great to know, be aware of what the Bible says, but that's no good when the enemy attacks. We need the Word in us from a daily reading / receiving of the WORD in some way. The Bible tells us to meditate on the Word. I am again standing on what the Bible says concerning our (my) healing. These pages will continue to grow as I study the word and hear from the Lord. My purpose is to encourage Christians in their walk with the Lord and remind us of what Jesus wants and expects from HIS Church. HE certainly does not like to see a Believer isolated from the local church because they cannot attend in person! I look forward to hearing from you. Perhaps you desire prayer, or need a Christian to just listen [ read and answer ] your message. The Lord has let me know these pages are no good if they do not help someone each day.
