I have not made lots of progress but am interested in my family history. I am particularly interested in the surname Harrell who were in Irwin county Georgia around 1900 and before. The only names I am aware of this far is a George Washington Harrell. He had a son Jim Harrell who was killed in the 1910-1920 time period in Irwin county. Jim was married to a Tid Nasworthy. I have no information about the George Washington Harrell. I have discovered some great information about the Nasworthy surname if you are researching that name

My mothers family surnames were Jones and Jenkins from North Georgia, Gwinnett county. My great grandfather is Thomas Berry Jones and his father William Elkanah Jones. William came to north Georgia from South Carolina with a brother as I understand.
