| | I have been interested in electronics since 1964-67 when I was in high
school. I had cb radio and worked in a TV SHOP after graduation to learn about
electronics, taking a correspondence course while working with Hanner TV. With a
rare medical condition called Myosistis Ossificans Progressiva, which causes my
muscles to turn to bone or calcify, I was not able to go off to school. I read
books beyond the course and self taught myself about electronics and then
computers. In 1970 my condition progressed to a point where I required crutches
to get around. In about 1976 I had an accident, falling , which then put me in a
wheelchair. After being in the wheelchair a year, I made up my mind to study and
obtain my Amateur Radio License. |
